FIA Rain Lights are quickly becoming a required item by most sanctioning bodies during inclement weather. They can also be very useful to alert other drivers of hazardous conditions such as: stalled on the grid, driving slowly due to a mechanical issue, or during a safety car or red flag period. However, different sanctioning bodies and sometimes even different regions within, may have varying rules on how the light is to function when it is in use.
Rather than complicate the install process and even worse, having the driver try to select the correct rain light operation during a race potentially through multiple switches; we came up with a method that is both simple to install and as easy as possible for the driver with just a simple on/off switch by using premade, labeled, plug and play adapters that are installed between the rain light and vehicle wiring to alter how the rain light will function to meet the rules of your sanctioning body.
Simply swap the adapter with another to alter how the rain light will function to comply with a different region or sanctioning body’s rain light requirement.
