This is the complete, uncut, driver’s power seat wiring removed from a LHD E46 chassis harness that was being thinned for a racecar. This wiring can be added to another E46 to retrofit a stock power seat.
This wiring goes from the X275. 25-pin, Yellow connector of the Driver’s Seat Connector to the Fuse Box; X173, Comb Splice, Chassis Ground Point – Driver’s Rocker Panel; and X10116, Comb Splice, K-Bus – Above Fuse Box. A used 30A fuse is also included.
Wiring Details:
- 4.00mm² Red/Brown – X275-13 to Fuse 65 (30A)
- 4.00mm² Brown – X275-14 to X173
- 0.35mm² White/Red/Yellow – X275-15 to X10116*
Notes:
* The K-Bus wire is not needed for the power seats, but it is required for the memory seats to function.
– On a stock chassis harness this wiring is routed along the rocker panel and behind the dash.
– You do not have to attach this ground wire back to the X173, Comb Splice. You can cut the pin for the comb splice off and use a ring terminal to attach this ground wire to another suitable ground location.
