BMW E46 Rain Sensor Wire Harness

This rain sensor wiring was removed from a LHD E46 chassis harness that was being thinned for a racecar. This wiring has been shortened by crimping new pins on to be routed up the right a-pillar rather than across the dash and up the left a-pillar as it is originally. This wire harness includes the X13084, 4-pin, Black connector of the B57 – Rain Sensor and has loose wires with the appropriate pins crimped onto them that can be easily added to another E46 while retrofitting the rain sensor.

Wiring Details:

• 0.50mm² Violet/White- Fuse 15 (used 5A fuse is included.)
• 0.50mm² Brown/Black – X219 Comb Splice, Ground – Above Fuse Box (originally this wire would go to the ground splice on the right side of the transmission tunnel, but for ease of retrofitting you can attach it to the ground splice above the fusebox.)
• 0.35mm² White/Red/Yellow- X10116, Comb Splice, K-Bus – Above Fuse Box
• 0.35mm² Brown/Green – X1596, Ultrasonic Splice, Wiper Rest Position – Just prior to the wiper motor wires going through the firewall (Above Fuse Box)
