BMW ISO Mini Relay Base, Style 1

These BMW relay bases have various part numbers which originally corresponds to both the style of the relay base and the color of the relay clip. In the end there are only two different styles of the relay base itself, which we go along with BMW’s diagram and call them Style 1 or Style 2. The difference between these two styles of relay bases is in the built in clips on the side, highlighted in the second image from BMW. This Style 1 relay base is found in the E36 fuse box and in the E46 clipped to the GM5 bracket.

Any of the BMW ISO Mini relays will fit into either style relay base, and any of the different colored relay clips (sold separately) will work with either style relay base as well.

These relay bases are USED items removed from OEM harnesses that were being thinned that have been depinned and cleaned.

Notes:

 – We prefer to use BMW relays with these bases and corresponding colored clip when adding new circuits into BMW race cars such that it appears to be original, but more importantly that it simplifies when needing a replacement and/or carrying spares.
