This is the complete, uncut, B64 – Headlight Vertical Aim Control Load Sensor – Rear wire harness removed from a LHD E46 chassis harness that was being thinned for a racecar. This wiring can be added to another E46 to retrofit Xenon headlights.
This wire harness includes the X13251, 6-pin, Black (or Black/Brown*) connector of the B64 – Headlight Vertical Aim Control Load Sensor – Rear and has loose wires that will go to the X12, 54-pin, Black connector of the A3 – Light Switch.
Wiring Details:
- – 0.50 mm² Black/Green – Light Switch X12-14
- – 0.50 mm² Black/Gray – Light Switch X12-26
- – 0.50 mm² Black/White – Light Switch X12-46
Notes:
* Both the 6-pin Black and 6-pin Black/Brown connectors have the say keyway and can both plug into the same device. The difference is that the Black/Brown connector can only use a total of 3 wires, with the other 3 locations physically blocked; while the Black connector can use all 6 wires and uses blank plugs in the unused positions.
– This wire harness should work in either a Coupe or Sedan, however this wiring was always just removed from harnesses that were being thinned, and we never paid attention if this rear wiring varies from different models. This first harness that was saved and listed for sale was from a pre-facelift non-M coupe. As we save more of these we will note if there are any differences.
