This is the complete, uncut, rear sunshade roller blind wiring removed from a LHD E46 chassis harness that was being thinned for a racecar. This wiring can be added to another E46 while retrofitting the rear sunshade roller blind.
This wire harness includes the X1281, 3-pin, Violet connector of the M74 – Rear Sunshade Roller Blind Motor and has loose wires with the appropriate pins crimped onto them that will go to the X1869, 23-pin, Black/Brown connector of the A169 – Switch Center.
Wiring Details:
- 0.75mm² Yellow – X1281-1 to X1869-14
- 0.75mm² White – X1281-3 to X1869-15
Notes:
– Although the rear sunshade roller blind varies from the coupe or sedan, this wire harness will work in either a coupe or sedan, but only when using the appropriate switch center with the rear sunshade roller blind button. This harness will not work with the very early E46 models that had an isolated rear sunshade roller blind switch.
– On a stock LHD chassis harness this wiring is routed along the right rocker panel and behind the dash. I believe this wiring is the same on the RHD models but I am unsure.
– We do not have any other rear sunshade roller blind parts available.
– If there is more demand for this wire harness than we can salvage from stock harnesses we will build it from scratch at a slightly higher price.
