E8x / E9x CAN-Bus Plug and Play Adapter, 4-pin

This adapter is easily installed, requiring no splicing or cutting to the original vehicle wiring and is as close to plug and play as possible. No permanent alterations are performed and once installed, the adapter can easily be removed by simply unplugging it due to the additional parts supplied.

With this adapter, CAN-Hi, CAN-Low, power source, and ground are provided at a 4-pin Deutsch DTM connector. A second cable (more easily created; purchased separately or user created) is required to go from the 4-pin connector to your data logging device(s) such as AiM, Solo DL, Solo 2 DL, AEM, MoTeC, RaceCapture/Pro, etc. Please contact us if you need an additional cable created that we do not currently carry. A custom cable or kit can be created for you.

Notes:

 – This adapter utilizes an add-a-circuit fuse tap at the fuse box limited to 5A. If you prefer a more secure connection or if your device(s) will require additional power, please consider the 2-pin version that only provides a CAN-Bus splice, and then wire separate power and ground to your device(s).

 – The add-a-circuit fuse tap can be installed in either an always hot or ignition switched location of the fuse box which typically has several unused circuits available without the need to piggyback onto an existing circuit.
