Single Wire Seals (SWS) are specialized rubber, silicone, or plastic components crimped onto the wire insulation by the terminal to seal individual electrical wires as they enter a connector housing. They prevent moisture, dust, dirt, and chemicals from entering the connector, thus protecting electrical connections from corrosion and short circuits.
