Teves MK60 ABS Connector Kit

Update: This kit was originally designed around the MK60 found in the BMW E46 325, 330, and M3; however the MK60E1 and MK60E5 versions mostly found on BMW E9x models have since become more popular. Each of these different versions of the MK60 vary in the components used and connectors needed. We have added more options on this connector kit that will accommodate the (E46) MK60, MK60E1 or MK60E5 and we plan on offering additional speed sensor connector options in the future.

The Teves MK60 is a 4-channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), without a pre-charge pump, found in several different vehicles which have the ability to run in a standalone configuration; meaning it needs no other connections or communication to additional components outside of the sensors directly wired to it, voltage supply and chassis ground.

Due to this ability, the MK60 has become a common ABS upgrade in older BMW chassis (E30 & E36) that might of originally only had 3-channel ABS; as well as many other Make/Model of vehicles whether due to never having ABS, upgrading from 3-channel ABS, installation requirements, part availability, or simply due to the MK60 being a better performing ABS.

Additionally, certain versions of the MK60 modules have the capability to be reprogrammed with upgraded OEM (CSL) mapping or full custom race mapping using actual parameters of your vehicle to further increase the performance of the MK60 ABS.

Teves MK60 ABS Connector Kit Contents:

• MK60 Connector with Slide Lock (blue) – 47-pin Sealed Teal Plug with universal keyway allowing it to plug into the MK60, MK60E1 or MK60E5.
  • 5x – Large Pins for 1.00 – 2.50mm² wire and Seals (yellow) for 2.2 – 3.0mm insulation diameter (1 spare)
  • 24x or 30x – Small Pins for 0.35 – 0.50mm² wire – Several spares or to accommodate different variations you may use. (Quantity varies based on selection of With or Without Brake Pressure Sensors)
    • Seals (yellow) for 0.9 – 1.3mm insulation diameter (with 0.35mm² Sensor Wiring Size)
    • Seals (green) for 1.4 – 1.9mm insulation diameter (with 0.50mm² Sensor Wiring Size)
  • 26 or 32x – Small Blank Plug (blue) (Quantity varies based on selection of With or Without Brake Pressure Sensors and 4-pin or 6-pin Yaw Sensor)
• 2x Brake Pressure Connectors – 3-pin Sealed Gray Plug – Optional with or without as the MK60 has external pressure sensors while the MK60E1 and MK60E5 do not use external sensors.
  • 7x – Pins for 0.22 – 0.35mm² wire and Seals (yellow) for 0.9 – 1.3mm insulation diameter (1 spare, with 0.35mm² Sensor Wiring Size)
  • 7x – Pins for 0.50 – 0.75mm² wire and Seals (green) for 1.4 – 1.9mm insulation diameter (1 spare, with 0.50mm² Sensor Wiring Size)
• 4x BMW Wheel Speed Sensor Connectors – 2-pin Sealed Teal Plug with universal keyway allowing it to plug into any of the MK60, MK60E1 or MK60E5 wheel speed sensors. Optional with or without as many other OEM Make/Model of wheel speed sensors can work with the different MK60 versions.
  • 9x – Pins for 0.22 – 0.35mm² wire and Seals (gray) for 0.9 – 1.3mm insulation diameter (1 spare, with 0.35mm² Sensor Wiring Size)
  • 9x – Pins for 0.50 – 0.75mm² wire and Seals (black) for 1.4 – 1.9mm insulation diameter (1 spare, with 0.50mm² Sensor Wiring Size)
• DSC (Yaw) Sensor Connector – Different yaw sensors with different connectors are used between the MK60, MK60E1 and MK60E5. Please select accordingly to which you need.
  • 5x – Pins for 0.22 – 0.35mm² wire and Seals (yellow) for 0.9 – 1.3mm insulation diameter (1 spare, with 0.35mm² Sensor Wiring Size)
  • 5x – Pins for 0.50 – 0.75mm² wire and Seals (green) for 1.4 – 1.9mm insulation diameter (1 spare, with 0.50mm² Sensor Wiring Size)
  • 0 or 2x – Small Blank Plug (Quantity varies based on selection of 4-pin or 6-pin Yaw Sensor)
• OBDII Connector with Cover or Bolt-in Style
  • 7x – Pins for 0.20 – 0.50mm² wire – Few spares or to allow you wire CAN-Bus to the OBDII.

Notes:

– The connectors and wiring are the same from a base model non-M MK60 or a custom tuned re-mapped M3 MK60.

– We do not offer any programming / re-mapping of the MK60 module.
