BMW M54 Electronic Throttle Body Wire Harness

This harness was primarily designed for swapping a BMW E46 323 or 328 from a MS42 DME to MS43 DME while retaining the original M52TU engine wire harness, largely known from O’LearysGenuineBMW’s YouTube video, where you will depin the original 10-pin M52TU / MS42 Throttle Body wiring and run this new 6-pin M54 / MS43 Throttle Body wire harness. The original 10-pin M52TU / MS42 throttle body connector can either be left loose (unused), or could be completely pulled out of the engine harness.

This harness can also be used with a M54 engine while using a M52TU engine wire harness, essentially the same as above, but rather than converting the M52TU from MS42 to MS43; you can swap to the M54 engine while reusing the M52TU engine wire harness and use this 6-pin M54 throttle body wire harness in place of the original 10-pin M52TU throttle body wiring.

 – The pinout for the M54 Throttle Body Connector is the same between the MS43 or MS45, but the location of the pins at the DME X60003 Connector differ. Be sure to use the correct pin numbers based on the DME model (MS43 or MS45) that you will be using.
